362,723. Centrifugal gas cleaners. MOYNAN, F. K. O., Sutton Bonington, Loughborough, Leicestershire. Jan. 12, 1931, No. 1011. Addition to 341,532. [Class 23.] The apparatus for extracting dust or moisture from gases as described in the parent Specification, is modified by the cover G for the lower end of the separator casing B being constructed of conical form and provided with ribs or corrugations 1 on its inside :'ace. The major part of the conical bottom plate E is located within the conical cover G, and the ribs on the parts G, E, may be formed with recesses or pockets near their bases to assist in catching the separated dust. Where the gases are hot, moisture is provided to cool them and to assist in the separation. Water or steam may be supplied at the inlet 4, or from a nozzle 2, Fig. 4, at the apex of the conical plate E.
