Abstract
Methyl or other primary alcohol, an acetone or other water-soluble grease solvent is used to obtain the simultaneous scouring, dehydrating and washing of textile materials, the solvent being subsequently recovered from the grease by a physical, chemical, or physico chemical process, such as distillation, cooling, filtering, or centrifugal treatment.
