[Class 135.] Spindles.-In a lift stop valve the valve disc 15 is provided with guide rings 20 in the vicinity of the connection between the spindle and the disc, the said wings guiding the valve within the casing neck 2 and also serving to cooperate with the interior of the bonnet flange 5 to prevent separation of the disc from the spindle during the removal of the bonnet for repairs.
