344,679. Weighing-apparatus fitted to machines for excavating and handling superphosphate &c. AKTIESELSKABET DANSK SVOVLSYRE & SUPERPHOSPHAT-FABRIK, 15, Amaliegade, Copenhagen.-(Assignees of Warming, K. ; 48, Vestre Boulevard, Copenhagen.) March 24, 1930, No. 9345. Convention date, Sept. 20, 1929. [Class 143.] In a wheel mounted machine for handling superphosphate or like material, embodying a substantially vertical excavator C, capable of swinging in an horizontal direction about a pivot A, the pivot is mounted on an elevated bridge B below which is situated on the car the machinery for sifting, crushing, filling into sacks and weighing the superphosphate, and a sewing machine Q for closing the sacks. The excavator whilst scraping the material from the heap is automatically swung about the pivot A by a pinion G and electric motor Y, and discharges the scraped-off material on to a shaking sieve I. The coarser material is crushed by rollers K and passes to a hopper L together with the material passed through the sieve. From the hopper L the material passes through the automatic valves M of two sack weighers. The filled sacks when released from their holders O fall upon a belt conveyer P and are carried to the sewing machine Q by which they are closed, after which the conveyer transfers them to a roller conveyer S, or a smooth steel plate, leading to the ground level. The roller conveyer may be swung upwards when desired.
