Abstract

341,285. Clothes lines ; rope railways &c. MARRABLE, H. A., 134, Hudson Street, Hoboken, New Jersey, U.S.A. Jan. 24, 1930, No. 2602. [Class 52 (v).] An endless line, cable 6 &c., for use as a clothes line or for breeches buoys &c., is carried by end pulleys 3 and provided with a lower line 7, secured at its ends to the line 6 and attached thereto at intervals by short flexible elements 8, the arrangement being such that the line &c. 6 can be drawn through the pulleys with the clothes &c. still secured to the lower line 7, and connecting pieces 8 passing under the pulleys. The pulley frames 3 may have small grooved wheels which engage the pulleys to retain the line &c. 6 thereon. The line may be utilized for roundabouts.
