341,041. Buoys and buoy fittings. QUINTEROS, E. F., 1695, Vicente Lopez Street, Buenos Ayres. Oct. 7, 1929, No. 30415. [Class 68 (i).] To determine the position of a sunken submarine, to ventilate it, and to supply food &c. to the crew, a buoy 1 is fitted with a hose pipe 2 divided diametrically by a longitudinal diaphragm 4, Fig. 6. The buoy is preferably of cylindrical form with conical ends. On the neck 5 of the buoy is a chamber 6, wherein luminous signals, flags &c. are placed. The chamber 6 is closed by a cover 8, which is opened, as the buoy emerges, by a counterweight 9.
