Gas meters.-A gas meter diaphragm a is gripped firmly in a ring f having a beaded lower edge g by a U-sectioned ring e inserted under substantial pressure, the two rings and diaphragm forming a unit assembly. The ring f is insertable by finger pressure in the diaphragm pan j of the meter so that new diaphragm units can be inserted in the meter without the meter being returned to the works. Specifications 13025/15 and 172,472 are referred to.
