Abstract

337,898. Ireland, W. F. Sept. 16, 1929. Linings and internal fittings. - A vessel or receptacle adapted to contain hot water or other liquid into which a safety razor is to be immersed,. is provided with means so that the head of the razor is held some distance above the bottom of the vessel. The means may comprise attachments of wire, one form of which is shown in Fig. 1, provided with a clip 2 adapted to engage the edge of the vessel 1 and with a bent-up part 5, which in conjunction with either the horizontal portion 4 or the inner limbs of the clip, supports the head 6 of the razor. In a modification, the part 5 is bent below the part 4 and is shaped to engage the neck of the razor. In a further modification. the vessel 1 is provided with a central upstanding part 9, Fig. 7, to support the head of the razor. The edge of the vessel may be slotted or recessed to receive the handle of the razor.
