Abstract

334,594. Bonsor, N. R. P. June 7, 1929. Ships; building-blocks and the like.-A model ship comprises a plurality of sections 1, 2, 3, connected by spigots 4 to form the hull, a plurality of sections 7 - - 10 forming the superstructure, and spigots 11 connecting the superstructure to the hull whereby the hull sections are interlocked. The upper surfaces of the hull sections are provided with equally spaced holes 6 to receive the spigots of the superstructure and deck fittings. The funnels are mounted on the upper surface of the superstructure and are each formed of a number of differently coloured sections 12 connected by a spigot 13. Hull sections of various shapes are provided to enable the construction of ships of different types. In floating models, the hull is hollowed out, weighted, and fitted with a clockwork, electric or other engine.
