Abstract

332,632. Lee, E. L. April 17, 1929. Advertising on hair combs.-A hair comb is formed by stamping or pressing from sheet material, e.g., in the manner shown in Fig. 3, and bears advertising matter thereon. The comb may be formed from materials, such as cardboard, which are soluble or semi-soluble in water, from porous or semi-porous materials which may be treated with disinfectant, or from imitation ivory, sheet metal, &c. The advertising matter may be impressed on the comb when it is stamped or pressed out, or a strip bearing the advertising matter may be secured to the comb. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 8493/06 and 10021/12, [both in Class 131, Toilet &c.].
