Abstract

330,309. Wallis, G. L. March 12, 1929. Motors, mounting or supporting.-In a motorframe comprising two main members 6, 8,and a pair of engine-supporting bars 11, the lower end of the bent member 6 is provided with a double lug 23 having front and rear bosses by which it is bolted to the rear engine side plates 26, the lower ends of which are bolted at 32 to the bars 11. The front engine side plates 19 are bolted at 20 to a lug 18 on the front tube 8. The lower rear fork 34 is secured to the plates 26 by bolts 36, which also secure a distance piece having an upward projection forming a bearing for the countershaft 39.
