Date indicators.-A device for displaying variable information of the type described in Specification 241,137 comprises two or more sets of indicating plates, cards. &c. movable together when the device is turned end for end, one of such sets being mounted in a detachable casing for the purpose of effecting a. relative adjustment of the indicating members. In the form shown as a date indicator, Figs. 1 and 3. a casing A with top and bottom portions A<1>, A<2>, is provided with a second casing C slidable between the portions A<1>, A<2> and retained in position by springs G. The casing A is divided into two compartments by a partition A<3>, Fig. 5, and contains a set of cards B bearing the names of the days of the week, one name being visible through an aperture A' in the casing. The other casing C, Fig. 4, is similarly divided by a partition C<1> and contains a set of cards D bearing the date figures and viewable through an aperture C<2>. Frames F<1> are provided at the back and front for the reception of carriers F provided with month name cards. Cover plates A', A<6> are provided for the top and bottom portions, the same being held by springs H.
