Abstract

326,368. L'Etang, M. M. de. April 3, 1929. Advertising on vehicles; optical devices. - Optical-projection apparatus mounted on a vehicle, and utilizing the same source of light as that of the rear lamp, is adapted to project an image or shadow of advertising or other matter on to the road surface or the body of the vehicle. In one construction the image is received on a screen hinged to the bottom of the registration plate and making an angle of about 120‹ with it. The inscription may be changed by automatic means or from the driver's seat by suitable controls.
