Abstract

323,353. Hall, H., C., and Bradbury, T. F. Dec. 18, 1928. Alloys.-An aluminium alloy contains 0.5-5 per cent of copper, 0.-1.7 per cent of magnesium, 0.2-1.5 per cent of nickel, 0.6-1.5 per cent of iron, over 0.5-2.8 per cent of silicon, and up to 0.3 per cent each of manganese and titanium. The alloy is made by the addition to aluminium of alloys rich in one or more of the other constituents. Specification 300,078 and 312,555 are referred to.
