Bed-pans comprise a shallow vessel of dish-like formation having a hollow handle or extension 13 closed at 14 and of substantial internal capacity in relation to that of the vessel. A hood 11 and rubber rim covering 12 may be provided as described in Specification 298,366, and also supporting rollers 16.
