322,632. Wyndham, J. N., and Wyndham, S. L. Nov. 23, 1928. Straight-tube type heaters.-An exhaust steam heater arranged in. a boiler uptake consists of one or more units each built up of parallel banks of tubes 11, 12 connected at one end to inlet and outlet compartments 7, 8 of a divided header 4, and at the other end to a return header 5. Two or more units are connected in series by elbows 3. The units are arranged above an air heater 2 in the uptake.
