Partitioned boxes.-A tilter for an egg carton consists of cross walls 3 slotted at 4 and apertured at 5 to receive a longitudinal partition 12 which engages the slots and locks in the aperture 5 by means of a tooth 16. Further slots 6, 7 are also provided in the cross-walls 3 shaped as shown, with which outer partitions 13, 14 engage so that they may either assume the inclined positions shown, in which the middle part 20 of the partition rests against inclined edges 10 of the slots, or may be turned into the vertical position so that the tilter may be collapsable. In the form shown in Fig. 5, the partitions are adapted to be inclined outwardly and downwardly. Other forms are shown in Figs. 6, 9, 10 and 12.
