Kinematograph apparatus. - In continuousfeed projectors having a large stationary lens 8 and a series of smaller lenses 9 moving parallel with the film for compensation, means is provided to counteract the periodical fluctuation of the light intensity. As shown, a disc 10 having a zone 12 of varying opacity is provided, and is rotated synchronously with the feed sprocket 6. Light from the source 2 passes through a condenser 4 and the zone 12 on its way to the film 3. In alternative, constructions an iris diaphragm may be provided, its aperture being periodically varied, a zone of varying opacity may be formed on the lens 8, the reflector 20 may be periodically turned about a vertical axis, the condenser may be reciprocated, or a rheostat in the lamp circuit may be periodically controlled.
