Gas. meters. - In order to increase the capacity of dry gas meters the slide valves are arranged so that the angle between their lines of motion is less than 90‹ but above 65‹ and the chords of the arcs described by the points of attachment of the flag-arms K, K<1> with the links L, L<1> connecting them to the driving crank M of the shaft of the indicating mechanism from continuations of centre lines of the valve seatings P, P<1>.
