Abstract

314,304. Otsuka, I. June 24, 1928, [Convention date]. Gravity-feed lubricating; force-feed lubricating. -The bolster casings 1 of a spinning, doubling, or winding machines are connected by depending tubes 24 to a pipe 3, one end of which is connected to the bottom of an oil tank 7 while the other end is connected to a pipe 5 arranged beneath the pipe 3 and leading to a pump 8 which returns the oil to the upper part of the tank, which contains filtering material 18 supported on a perforated plate 17. The tank is elevated so that oil flows therefrom by gravity. According to the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3 (a), oil may be supplied from the tank to the bolster casings and pass from the latter through the tubes 24 to a separate pipe connected to the pump, and the tank may be sealed so that pressure is generated therein. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
