Strips of staples, - A stapling strip is produced from strip metal by splitting the strip on both sides of a central portion 1, which may be notched to facilitate separation of the staples. The strip may be used in stapling apparatus with the pronges already bent to U-form, or, alternatively, with the flat strip in roll form, individual staples of the strip being bent in the apparatus to U-form, as indicated at 3, prior to insertion. Specification 23172/00; and 13187/12, [Class 89 (iii), Nailing &c.], are referred to.
