Emulsions, making.-Water-soluble semi-solid bodies of high emulsifying power are obtained by sulphonation of the fatty acids obtained from raw wool fat with sulphuric acid monohydrate in the presence of phenol. The alkali soap obtained from the product is also an emulsifying agent.
