Abstract

307,652. Farmer, W. April 19, 1928. Knickers.-A knicker garment is made from a single piece blank of approximately rectangular shape, the lower edge being furnished with a central gap G in which is a triangular flap B. In making the garment, the flap is turned up and the side K, joined to the back edges J, L, the side N being similarly joined to the edges 0, P; the upper parts of the sides K, N are joined together. As shown, the middle of the blank is of greater depth than the sides to provide fulness at the rear, and the garment is completed by tape or elastic round the waist and legs.
