Abstract
307,060. Telefunken Ges. f³r Drahtlose Telegraphie. March 3, 1928, [Convention date]. Directive signalling.-An aerial system comprises a plurality of substantially horizontal linear aerials a1 - - d1 arranged one above the other. The aerials are arranged in the same vertical plane when horizontal radiation is required. The aerials are associated with energy supply leads L1 in such a way that each aerial is excited in a half wave of the same phase (Fig. 2a, not shown), or the two halves of each aerial in corresponding half waves of the same phase, as shown. A plurality of aerial systems a1 - - - d4 are arranged near to one another, and the separate aerial systems are fed with oscillations in the same phase from a branched energy-supply system L1 - - L4, m, n, k.
