304,709. Graham Amplion, Ltd., Rickets, W. J., and Carne, N. T. Oct. 25, 1927. Electromagnets. - The field magnet of a moving coil sound reproducing instrument has adjustable poles to facilitate adjustment of the air gap in which the coil moves. As shown in Fig. 1, the outer limbs 3 of the field magnet are adjustable by screws 4 working through extensions 5 of a ring 6. In a modification the limbs 3 are collectively adjustable by an embracing collar. In a further modification, two outer limbs 3<a>, Fig. 3, are adjustable relatively to the central pole 2.
