Storing under pressure.-A high-pressure gas cartridge, particularly for fire-extin. guishers, has a diaphragm m soldered over its reduced neck opening z and additionally held in place by a screwed sleeve h. A striker p normally held in place by a deformable cap l has a flat face r in its lower portion and a groove r<1> in its upper portion, by which the gas escapes when the diaphragm is pierced. The striker is guided by the sleeve h, and its striking end p<2> by the narrow neck portion z of the cartridge.
