Folding seats.-A tip-up seat is pivoted at a point c, well above the base of the seat proper, and carries lugs d<2> which engage cam slots a<5> when the seat is lowered, thus relieving the pivot c of all strain when the seat is occupied. The arms d are provided with elongated slots d<3>, and the forward portion of the seat, when in use, rests upon bearers a<1>.
