Abstract
293,289. Axten, C. J., and Long, A. T. May 11, 1928. Sectional handles; loss-preventing attachments; grip-facilitating; fixing by self-grip sockets and tangs.-A brush, mop, &c. handle is in two sections 1, 2, the part 1 which has the socket 3 to take the stem 2 being shorter than the stem and of greater diameter and reduced in thickness at the middle part 5 for ease of handling. The socket may be slightly tapered and the upper end of the stem provided with a saw cut to hold the parts securely together and the two parts may be connected by a cord to prevent one being lost.
