Abstract

292,567. Kempter, R June 24, 1927, [Convention date]. Fittings, internal; contents, facilitating access to.-A package of filter papers for tobacco pipes &c. comprises a case or enclosure g, Fig. 3, having a row of pockets formed between the walls thereof and a strip of corrugated paper, and a number of helically-wound expanding filter papers each of which is contained in a separate pocket and so prevented from unwinding. The corrugated sheet may be provided with backings before being enclosed in the case or enclosure g which may be cut away at n to facilitate withdrawal of the contents or the end of the case, can be slit or perforated to provide a flap that can be folded back for the same purpose. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also a case, Figs. 1 (Cancelled), and 2 (Cancelled), formed from a sheet, c of corrugated paper and a plain backing d adapted for rolling up, an elastic band e being provided for securing the case in the rolled-up condition; the papers a project beyond the pockets b so that they can be easily withdrawn and a paper strip f may be used to protect the projecting ends; the. case may also be formed with more than one corruagted sheet and the backing may be secured to one or both sides thereof. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
