Abstract
291,007. Dalin, H. May 23, 1927, [Convention date]. Casings; impellers having admission and discharge at periphery. -A fan with blades 3 has a peripheral inlet 4 and discharge 5, while between the discharge and the inlet is arranged a deflector 6 of sueh form that air under pressure is directed towards the centre of the fan thereby assisting fresh air to enter. The inlet, outlet and deflector may extend the whole length of the fan, and a shutter 7 may be provided to vary the size of the inlet.
