Abstract

279,320. Williams, S. E. March 28, 1927. Guide pulleys.-In guide pulleys for rope haulage systems of the kind in which a base plate 1 is provided with an upstanding spindle 2 surrounded by a lubricating well 3 in which the boss of the pulley 8 engages, the bush 4 is provided with a flange 5 having on its underside one or more projections 6 which engage detachably recesses 7 in the base plate 1. The projections may be on the inner surface of the bush or on the edge of the flange 5, and the recesses in the spindle or well 3, respectively. Alternatively, the bush and spindle may be of polygonal crosssection.
