Abstract

Label holders. - Licence holders for motor vehicles, photograph frames, etc., comprise a vulcanite holder ring a, the licence card b and a retaining plate c being held in position against a flange a<1> of the ring a by an expansible ring d which fits an annular recess a<3> in the ring a. To facilitate removal, the ring d may be formed with a bend d<1>. The face of the ring a is recessed to carry a rubber ring, so that when the holder is adhered to the windscreen, the rubber ring may be expanded into the recess to form a seal, or, a seal may be formed of wax or putty. A flat jointing ring of gelatine may be recessed into the face of the holder ring. In the case of photograph frames, the ends of the retaining ring are formed as supporting feet, and a strut may be hinged upon the retaining plate.
