Yarns, treating with liquids.-Cellulosic materials are subjected to the action of sulphuric acid containing dissolved cellulose. On washing out the sulphuric acid with water, the cellulose is precipitated upon and within the body of the material. Yarns treated by the process are stated to be suitable for tapers or as polished yarns.
