Reversible windows; fanlights; window frames. - A window frame for reversibly pivoted sashes has beading only on the outer side at 2 and pins 3 on which pivot two or more removable slotted sashes 6. A concave quadrant face 4 fixed to the frame is in rotatable engagement with a convex face 8 on each side of the sash. The frame at the sill and the meeting rails of the sashes are sloped downwardly towards the outside and the inner face of the beading is grooved to carry away moisture. Stays are preferably provided for holding the sashes in an open position and these may be of the kind described in Specification 261,556, [Class 65 (i), Door and gate operating-appliances &c.]. Stops 9 on the frame hold the sashes in the horizontal position. The sashes may be three or more in number and mav be in the same or different planes when closed. Specification 254,140 also is referred to.
