Abstract

272,673. Delery, E. F., and Delery, C. H. June 7, 1926. Pipes, arrangement of.-Means for the even distribution of fluids in pipe systems, filters, irrigation channels, &c. comprise a fluid conduit 4 of substantially uniform cross-section and closed at one end, and branch conduits 2, also uniform and closed at one end, each branch communicating with the main conduit through a nozzle 1 and having nozzles for the distribution of the fluid, all the nozzles facing towards the inlet from which they are supplied. Fig. 1 shows the application to the wash water distribution system of a filter. The nozzles on the branches 2 are formed by shearing lips where required.
