271,997. Morris Engines (Coventry), Ltd., Pendrell, A. G., and Woollard, F. G. April 16, 1926, Valve gcar.--In an engine in which a chain a drives a sprocket c on a pump, magneto, or dynamo shaft from a sprocket b on the crank shaft, and in which the cam shaft i, or other shaft which may require to be dismounted, is driven from another sprocket e through spur gearing f, h, the wheels e, f are carried by a frame g which is located by dowels k and secured to the cylinder head j by bolts l. In a modification, Fig. 4, the wheels e, f are carried on a boss m secured to the cylinder head by a screwed pin r. In another form, the wheels e, f are mounted on a hollow pin formed with a flanged end, which is secured by set-screws to the cylinder head.
