Telephonic instruments for deaf persons; ear pieces and attachments; head sets.-Hearing apparatus for deaf persons comprises a telephone receiver 1 adapted to rest against the ear opening and supported by a reversible hook 9 hung over the upper saddle of the ear, the hook 9 also serving as a carrier for the connecting wires 6, 7. In order to enable the apparatus to be mounted on the left or on the right ear, the hook 9 is hingedly connected to the bent tube 3, 4, 5 by a pin and slot arrangement 8, 10. The portion 3 of the bent tube is stationarily or rotatably mounted in the receiver 1. The lower portion of the hook 9 may be made resilient.
