Refrigerators, domestic, shop, and like.-A cooling-cabinet for storing ice-cream &c., preferably forming the body of a tricycle, comprises an outer case 2 of wood with thick cork or other insulation 5 and a zinc lining 6, fitted with removable sealed rectangular vessels 7 containing a previously frozen mixture adapted to maintain a constant temperature while melting. The vessels 7 are held in straps or pockets 24 attached to the lining 6, so that their walls are exposed to the storage spaces, and they are provided with handles 30. A perforated false bottom or stand 13 has attached thereto thin vertical partitions 14, 15 providing compartments accessible through separate openings 8, 9, 10 in the main hinged lid, these openings being closed by insulated plug lids lined with metal 18. The main lid may be supported when open by a folding strut 25, and has fitted thereto a screen comprising triangular ends 16, Fig. 4 connected by a top cross bar 21 and attached to a base removably secured to the lid. The cabinet may be secured to a vehicle by bolts 22, and has a drain pipe 17.
