Abstract

267,955. Dennis, A. J. March 18, 1926, [Convention date]. Spiked plates.-Metal strips 1 for securing floor coverings have spikes 4 which project into linoleum &c. 3 from the underside. In joining two sheets the strips are not secured to the floor. The spikes may penetrate the linoleum &c. and be flattened. The spikes are arranged in two rows at or near the edge of the strip or one central row may be used to connect adjacent sheets the spikes being alternately bent in opposite directions.
