Pulverulent fuel, atmospheric gas, and blowpipe burners.- The fuel outlet passage d of a gaseous or powdered fuel burner is formed with sets of inclined slots c through which jets of compressed air from a chamber b are discharged so as to impinge on each other at the axis of the passage, thereby causing a turbulence resulting in the complete mixture of the fuel and air. The outlet passage d may be of spiral form or may discharge into the furnace through a spiral extension i.
