Abstract

263,161. Stock Motorpflug Akt.-Ges. Dec. 17, 1925, [Convention date]. Endless-track vehicles.-The front sprocket wheels or pulleys 4, 5 of an endless-track vehicle are driven independently of one another by a motor 1 arranged between them, and the rear idle wheels 8. 9 are mounted on a common axle connected by a single frame with the motor structure. Wipers 11 carried by the rear axle 7 are arranged in front of the rear wheels so as to clean the tracks 10, and extensions 14 of the wipers also clean the rear wheels. The side edges of the wipers act as lateral guides for the. tracks. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) states also that if the drive is reversible a front supporting wheel may be used which does not normally rest on the ground, this wheel preventing rearing or overturning when the vehicle is driven backwards. This subjectmatter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
