Detailed Description of Figures
CO
With reference to the figures there is shown embodiments 199,299 of a planting device generally comprising: a hollow main pot 100,200 with an internal space arranged for receipt of planting material; and a plurality of planter cups 99, the main pot having one or more sidewall, a base 4,26, an open top, and a plurality of spaced apart cut-outs 1 adapted for receipt of the planter cups 99, wherein the planter cups are hung in the cut-outs for use of the planter cup for planting, and wholly displaceable from the main pot to allow the main pot to stack into the main pot of another device.
In particular reference to the embodiment 199 of the device shown in Figure 1 the embodiment comprises a substantially cylindrical form pot 100, with an open mouth. The top edge of the sidewall around the mouth includes a rolled edge 8 for rigidity.
The continuous sidewall of the pot is tapered inwards from the open mouth to the circular base 4.
The circular base has a central circular indented section with a central hole 3 for drainage of the pot.
Around this central indented section is an annular edge 5 with six holes 3 for drainage equally spaced around the central indented section.
The annular outer edge further includes six feet 6, which are provided by downwards extending segments of the outer circumference of the base.
The central indented section and the feet enable the embodiment to stand on a variety of different types of underlying and uneven surfaces, The sidewall of the embodiment is perforated with ten cut-outs 1, which are arranged in two rows of five, spaced about the sidewall equally.
The cut-outs have an arcuate lower edge joining straight side edges and a flat top edge with right-angled corners with the side edges.
The connection means comprises a small circular hole 12 in the sidewall below the lowest point of the arcuate lower edge.
CO
The planter cups 99 comprise a rear wall 10 mirroring the shape of the cut-out, but extending o away wider than the cut-out 1 itself.
