Abstract

An apparatus for filtering e.g. engine oils and/or fuel, comprises a housing with a filter arrangement in the housing, and a hand grip for use in removing at least part of the device. The grip can be integrally attached to the housing, and it can be used to remove the housing from the filtering apparatus. The grip can comprise a set of teeth distributed around the housing. The apparatus can comprise an indicator which emits light from the housing and is powered by electricity produced by heat of the liquid being filtered. A probe can be connected to the indicator, the probe extending through a wall of the housing. A fluid flow duct bounded by the housing can comprise a magnetic bounding surface. The housing can comprise a bottom wall with a downward hole through it, the hole allowing drainage from or the inlet of fluid into the device. The apparatus can comprise a tool with a forked distal end, the limbs of which have prongs projecting transversely. The prongs engaging in holes in a screw threaded element of the filtering arrangement to facilitate the screwing and unscrewing of the screw-threaded element.

Description

OPULENT-ALL-IN-ONE SERVICE
CARE PACKAGE.
ABSTRACT: The following five Opulent (reusable and washable) sustainable products shall accumulate to one completed "All-In-One Service Care Package", the each component was designed to eliminate used hazardous oil and fuel filters, air filters contributing to an excessive increase in landfill build-up, to reduce recycling management collection consumption, and to become economically friendly, because of being able to be reusable and washed using simple methods of moderate water temperatures of 90o C = 363.15K (Kelvin), in an heat-resistance metal or plastic container with aid of general liquid washing detergent, and then rinse thoroughly with ambient air room temperature water or drying methods of air-drying, whip-My with microfiber lint free cloth are best suitable.
* Multipurpose washable-reusable filter, with two-piece removable interlocking face-plate-covers and internal-magnetic-wall-lining, convertible, oil-to-fuel filter rear location of filter conversion with a dirty/clean indicator, external circular-circumference-embossed embedded-handgrip for ease of installation or removal.

Claims (1)

  1. Claims (1) Apparatus comprising a filtering device comprising a housing, a filtering arrangement in said housing and a finger grip for use in 5 removing at least a part of said device.(2) Apparatus according to Claim 1, wherein said filtering device is arranged to filter liquid in a vehicle engine.(3) Apparatus according to Claim 2, wherein said liquid is lubricating liquid.(4) Apparatus according to any preceding Claim, wherein said part is said housing and said grip is attached to said housing.(5) Apparatus according to Claim 4, wherein said grip is integral with said housing.(6) Apparatus according to any preceding Claim, wherein said grip 15 comprises a set of teeth distributed around said housing.(7) Apparatus according to Claim 2 or 3, or any one of Claims 4 to 6 as appended to Claim 2, and further comprising an indicator serving to emit visible light from said housing and powered by electricity produced by heat of said liquid.(8) Apparatus according to Claim 7, wherein said indicator is a light emitting diode.(9) Apparatus according to Claim 7 or 8 and further comprising a probe connected to said indicator, a wall of said housing through which said probe extends and having an internally threaded bore, said probe being externally threaded for co-operation with the internal threading of said bore, for selectively removal or setting of said probe.(10) Apparatus according to Claim 9 as appended to Claim 7 or 8, wherein said probe has a head for turning said probe and said head has an internal through hole whereby said visible light is emitted to the exterior.(11) Apparatus according to any preceding Claim and further comprising a fluid flow duct having a magnetic bounding surface.(12) Apparatus according to Claim 11, wherein said duct is bounded by said housing.(13) Apparatus according to any preceding Claim, wherein said housing has a bottom wall, there being a downward hole through said bottom wall for drainage from said device or for an inlet for fluid into said device.(14) Apparatus according to Claim 13 and further comprising at least one aperture through a pocket above said bottom wall and communicating with said downward hole, said pocket serving to receive a lower end of said filtering arrangement.(15) Apparatus according to any preceding Claim and further comprising a tool for use in manually screwing into and unscrewing from a screw-threaded bore of said device, a screw-threaded element of said filtering arrangement, said tool comprising a forked distal end zone the limbs of which include respective prongs projecting parallelly to each other transversely from a general plane of the tool and in substantially the same direction as each other, said prongs being for engagement in respective holes in said element.(16) Apparatus according to Claim 15, wherein said tool further includes, at the base region of said end zone, a further prong projecting transversely from said plane in substantially said direction and substantially parallelly to said prongs, for engagement in a hole in another element of said filtering arrangement.(17) Apparatus comprising a container, a canister for containing a liquid of a dirty composition, and a mounting at an upper part of said container for supporting said canister in said upper part" said canister having a drain for emptying said liquid into a lower part of said container. (18) Apparatus according to Claim 17, wherein said container has a visible level indicator.(19) Apparatus comprising a probe, a wall through which said probe extends, and having an internally threaded bore, said probe being externally threaded for co-operation with the internal threading of the bore, for selective removal or setting of said probe.(20) Apparatus according to Claim 19, wherein said probe has a head 10 for turning said probe, and said head has an internal through hole whereby a light emitter in said probe can emit light through said hole to the exterior.(21) Apparatus comprising a filtering device comprising a fluid flow duct having a magnetic bounding surface.(22) Apparatus comprising a filtering device comprising a housing, a filtering arrangement in said housing, said housing having a bottom wall, and a downward hole through said bottom wall for use as a drain hole for liquid in said device or for an inlet for fluid into said device.(23) Apparatus according to Claim 22, wherein said filtering device and 20 comprising a plurality of apertures through a pocket above said wall and communicating with said hole, said pocket serving to receive a lower end of said filtering arrangement.(24) A filtering device comprising a housing, a filtering arrangement in said housing and an indicator serving to emit visible light and powered 25 by electricity produced by heat of fluid in said housing.(25) A device according to Claim 24, wherein said indicator is a light emitting diode.
