Abstract

258,161. Mars-Werke Akt.-Ges. Jan. 20, 1926, [Convention date]. Circular-saw machines.-A high speed friction saw or the work table co-operating therewith is mounted so as to be adjustable in at least two perpendicular directions, one in the line of cut and one at right angles thereto. Fig. 2 shows the saw 7, driven by an electro motor direct, mounted on a compound slide 2, the work being carried on a table 14 which has two rotational adjustments as shown by the arrows and a vertical adjustment on a column 8. The saw and work may be interchanged. Fig. 7 shows another form wherein the compound slide with the saw is mounted on the table 14, and the work is carried on a rotary table 16.
