Trees.-A shoe tree comprises a tubular member 10 secured to a heel portion 9, a rod 12 connected to a toe portion 8, and telescoping into the member 10, and a spring 17 encircling the rod 12 and acting on the end of the tubular member, a second tubular member 18 encircling the spring and the member 10. The toe part 8 has a hinge member with two ears 21 to engage a single member 13 on the tubular part. A part 24 on the member 13 acts as a stop to limit swinging of the hinge when in use.
