Tube-plates; headers. - A water-tube boiler unit comprises header members 4 water tubes joining them and a tube plate for each drum comprising a flat wall 1 with a flange 2 attached to the drum 4 and integral cross walls 3 intersecting one another, the plate 1 and the flange 2 to form a number of box-like recesses. In the example the cross-walls 3 are of less height than the flange 2.
