Abstract

The present invention relates to patient wound dressing station 100. The station comprises a prop or support rest 300 for a wounded body part of a patient, a first rest or chair 100 for supporting a carer or nurse dressing the wounded body part, and a second rest 200 for supporting the patient. The prop of the station may comprise a sink (312, figure 6) having a wash basin into which liquid washed from the wound part is drained away and wash basin is easily cleaned and sterilised. The chairs may be displaceable or rotatable with respect to one another and/or the prop, and a controller 102 may be positioned on the first rest for activating desire movement of the first and/or second rest and/or the prop. The prop may also be provided with one or more extendible support cradles (302, 304, figure 6) that can either cover the sink or may be extended laterally to serve as a table.
