Abstract
A device for playing a sound recording that is attached a food receiving pot, container, dish or bowl having a lid. The audio recording is played when the lid is lifted. Preferably the lid has motion sensors to activate the audio recording. The device may be powered by either battery or solar energy. The sound recording may also be activated manually via a button. Preferably the sound recording plays a prayer that is played before food is eaten, and a prayer may also be played after the food has been eaten. The sound recording may be play for a predetermined period and at predetermined intervals.
Description
DESCRIPTION
Title providing indication of Invention
The Invention relates to a device for playing audio of a religious supplication/prayer relating to when one commences to eat food.
Introduction and background to the invention
People of religious backgrounds all pretty much have a religious supplication/prayer that they say/read prior to eating.
Often this can be forgotten to be read. In the alternative, it could be that the supplication/prayer has not been memorised by every individual.
The device would mean that the audio of the supplication/prayer being played automatically as soon as the lid of any Pots/Containers/Dishes/Bowls that has prepared, cooked, and ready to eat food placed in it is lifted.
Statement of Invention
The device would be attached to a plastic (and possibly manufactured from other materials) Pots/Containers/Dishes/Bowls. Such Pots/Containers/Dishes/Bowls would be used for placing within it cooked, prepared and ready to consume/eat food. This can be anything from hot food (curries, pastas, rice, fried food etc), to fruits, and bread, chapatti, Pitta bread etc.
The Pots/Containers/Dishes/Bowls itself would consist of a bowl and lid. The bowl and lid would be microwave safe.
The lid has motion sensors to play audio as soon as the lid is lifted. A separate device can exist for different religious supplications/prayers for different religions.
The device would be multi language. A default language setting can be chosen from the outset followed by a secondary language setting for the translation
The device would be powered by solar energy and/or by battery.
As soon as the lid of the Pots/Containers/Dishes/Bowls is lifted the religious supplication/prayer would commence and last for approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute in the chosen default language. This will then be followed by 30 seconds to 1 minute translation. These timeframes are approximates and can be subject to change depending on the relevant supplication/prayer for any particular religion and this would therefore accommodate any longer or shorter supplication/prayer.
The audio files would be stored on an integrated printed circuit board which will be part of the device.
The device system would reset after a certain length of time. This means that the lid cannot be lifted, closed and lifted again within that timeframe for the audio to play. Only after the reset has taken place upon the certain length of time elapsing would the device reset for it play the audio again once the lid is lifted. A manual button will be available for playing audio relating to a religious supplication/prayer relating to when one finishes eating food. This will be in the same format as for when one commences to eat food, i.e. the religious supplication/prayer would commence and last for approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute in the chosen default language. This will then be followed by 30 seconds to 1 minute translation. These timeframes are approximates and can be subject to change depending on the relevant supplication/prayer for any particular religion and this would therefore accommodate any longer or shorter supplication/prayer.
Claims (10)
1. A device for playing audio of a religious supplication/prayer relating to when one commences to eat food.
2. A device which would be attached to plastic (and possibly manufactured from other materials) Pots/Containers/Dishes/Bowls.
3. A device which would play the audio of the supplication/prayer automatically as soon as the lid of any Pots/Containers/Dishes/Bowls that has prepared, cooked, and ready to eat food placed in it is lifted.
4. A device that would include motion sensors fitted to the lid of the Pots/Containers/Dishes/Bowls to play audio as soon as the lid is lifted.
5. A device which can exist for different religious supplications/prayers for different religions.
6. A device which would be multi language. A default language setting can be chosen from the outset followed by a secondary language setting for the translation.
7. A device which would be powered by solar energy and/or by battery.
8. A device which would have the audio files stored on an integrated printed circuit board.
9. A device incorporating a system that would only reset after a pre determined length of time elapses. This means that the lid cannot be lifted, closed and lifted again within that predetermined length of time for the audio to play continuously; rather it can be played at intervals, i.e. after the predetermined length of time has elapsed and the reset has taken place.
10. A device incorporating a manual button for playing audio relating to a religious supplication/prayer relating to when one finishes eating food.
