The studs &c. e are secured to a raised rim a' of the base, and pass through keyholeshaped openings in the ring c. A cover g is provided, having slots for the cables f and lips g<2> on the sides of the slot to be bent in under the cable. For a ceiling rose or switch having a wooden base, the studs e are mounted on a ring that fits into the recess in the base.
