Abstract

255,895. Scintilla Akt.-Ges. July 23, 1925, [Convention date]. Magneto-electric machines.-The stationary armature of a flywheel ignition magneto having two coils is formed with three substantially symmetrically disposed poles, and the angle between the axes of the coils is approximately 60‹ so that the magnet circuit remains closed in each portion of the rotating permanent magnet. The stator is formed of laminations, Fig. 1, comprising a core part band a pole-piece c. The pole-pieces are provided with recesses a into which fit the core ends of adjacent laminations when the stator is built up as shown in Fig. 3. Magnetic or non-magnetic stampings d may be inserted in the spaces e left in the pole-pieces, and one screw in each pole serves to secure together all the laminations.
